Unique Association of Sulphosalts from the Kľačianka Occurrence, Nízke Tatry Mts., Slovak Republic

Unique association of sulphosalts was discovered at the Kľačianka occurrence, Nízke Tatry Mts., Slovak Republic. It is bound to thin hydrothermal veins with Sb mineralization hosted by Variscan muscovite-biotite granodiorite and granite Prašivá type. Ore mineralogy crystal chemistry ore minerals are studied here microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, electron microprobe analyses, Raman spectroscopy. The early composed pyrite arsenopyrite in quartz gangue followed abundant sulfosalts. Stibnite, zinkenite, robinsonite (including Cu-bearing variety), jamesonite, scainiite, dadsonite, disulfodadsonite, rouxelite, chovanite, semseyite, boulangerite, geocronite, tintinaite (with low Bi contents), tetrahedrite-(Fe), tetrahedrite-(Zn), bournonite, chalcostibite, bismuthinite, gladite sphalerite rare galena gold identified here. chlorine-rich character described sulphosalt its characteristic phenomenon. represented not only occurrence Cl-sulphosalt but increased Cl contents were detected robinsonite, or tintinaite. presence oxygen-containing sulphosalts, such as scainiite also interesting. crystallization these chloro-, oxy- oxy-chloro-sulphosalts required very specific conditions (elevated O2/S2 fugacity) high chlorine activity ore-forming fluids.
